Shingyo: from twelve WooCommerce shops to one Medusa B2B engine

Sells across Europe (including shingyo.nl and shingyo.se)

Shingyo supplies packaging and promotional products across Europe, selling through sites such as shingyo.nl and shingyo.se. Much of what Shingyo sells is printed with the customer's logo or design. That makes the order process different from a regular webshop: there is a design, a print proof, an approval and often a quote before anything goes into production.

Shingyo ran twelve separate WooCommerce shops. Alpha Digital brought them together into one Medusa B2B engine. Below is what was built. We only publish result figures once they have been measured and verified.

Starting point

Shingyo sold through twelve separate WooCommerce shops. Each shop was its own installation, with its own products, plugins and updates. For a B2B supplier of printed products, that meant maintaining the same processes twelve times.

What we built

One Medusa B2B engine for all shops, built on Medusa, Supabase and Vercel. The engine includes automated print proof approval, a B2B quote engine, an integration with Picqer and an AI search engine for customers.
