Privacy policy

This is the privacy policy of Alpha Digital: what data we receive through this site, what we use it for and how long we keep it.

This English text is a translation for convenience. The Dutch version (Privacyverklaring) is legally binding. If the two differ, the Dutch version prevails.

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing on this site is Alpha Digital B.V. (Alpha Digital), Stationsplein 26, 6512 AB Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 72313129. VAT: NL859069394B01.

Privacy questions can be sent through the contact form at alphadigital.nl/en/contact/. We respond on weekdays from 09:00 to 16:30 CET.

What data

If you use the contact form, we process: your name, company name, email address, phone number (required if you ask for a callback), whether you want an email or a callback and your preferred time, the chosen topic, your message and the fact that you ticked the consent box.

If you call or email us, we process what you send us: usually your name, a phone number or email address, and the content of the conversation.

We do not ask for special categories of personal data. Please do not include them in the form.

The hosting provider may keep technical logs, such as an IP address, a timestamp and the requested URL. We do not build a marketing database from them.

What for

To answer your question and, if you ask for it, to prepare an intro call or a proposal.

To make the site work and limit abuse of the form. The form has a hidden field that catches bots. That field should stay empty.

Not to send newsletters, not to sell profiles, and not to target advertising. If we ever do, we will ask for separate consent and update this text first.

Legal basis

If you request a proposal or an appointment, the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

For a general question, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering it (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). That interest outweighs the limited intrusion of a mailbox containing your message. You can object to this.

The checkbox on the form is an extra confirmation that we may reply to you. We do not use it as an excuse to do anything else with your data.

Retention

We keep correspondence no longer than needed to handle and follow up your question. If no assignment follows, we delete your message once the contact has ended. If you want that sooner, email us.

If an assignment follows, the statutory retention periods for business records apply. We set those out in the agreement, not in this policy.

Vercel keeps the host's technical logs according to its own policy. See Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Processors and hosting

Messages from the contact form are sent through Lettermint, a Dutch email service. Lettermint processes your name, contact details, the topic and your message as a processor, only to deliver the email to us. See lettermint.co for Lettermint's privacy policy.

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., based in the United States. When you visit, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site.

The map on the contact page and the home page is an embedded Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). Your browser loads that map from Google, which means Google receives your IP address, among other things, and may use its own cookies or similar technologies. That is covered by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. The map only loads when you scroll to that part of the page.

Cookies

This site itself sets no tracking cookies and no marketing cookies.

We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics and loading speed with Vercel Speed Insights. Both work without cookies and are anonymous and aggregated: we see numbers of visits, pages, referring sites, country and device type, but no personal data and nothing that identifies you. There is no Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.

No cookie banner is needed for this. If we ever add other measurement or a non-essential cookie, we will change this text before that script goes live, and ask for consent where the law requires it.

The form does not use a cookie to remember your answers.

Sharing

We do not sell data. We do not trade it with advertisers.

We only share it with a processor to get the message to us, and with an authority if we are legally required to.

If you are based in another country, the processing of the contact form stays with our office in the Netherlands.

Security

We limit access to the mailbox and the hosting to people who need the message to reply.

No site is watertight. If you discover a vulnerability, report it through the contact form. We respond on working days.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, for data you provided yourself, portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Send your request through the contact form. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request comes from you. We respond within one month. If that is not possible, we explain why and how much extra time we need, up to a maximum of two further months as the GDPR allows.

A request is free of charge, unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In that case we may charge a fee or refuse the request, and we will explain why.

Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), Postbus 93374, 2509 AJ Den Haag, the Netherlands, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work. We would rather solve a question ourselves first, so please email us.

Changes

Version of 5 November 2026. If the processing changes, we update this page and add the date.
